Regresyvinė balsių asimiliacija: nomenklatūrinė požymio kaita plungiškių požiūriu

Abstract

Straipsnyje nagrinėjama pagrindinio skiriamojo šiaurės žemaičių telšiškių ir kretingiškių patarmių požymio – regresyvinės balsių asimiliacijos – nomenklatūrinė kaita. Siekiama nustatyti, kiek Plùngės gyventojai suvokia regresyvinę balsių asimiliaciją kaip skiriamąją šiaurės žemaičių tarminę ypatybę, ir įvertinti šio požymio kaitą. Remiamasi dinamiškosios dialektologijos, perceptyviosios dialektologijos metodais.    Išanalizavus plungiškių informantų pastabas apie regresyvinę balsių asimiliaciją ir kitus tarminius šiaurės žemaičių patarmių požymius, nustatyta, kad balsių asimiliacija retai įvardijama šiaurės žemaičių patarmių skiriamuoju požymiu. Dažniausiai ši ypatybė pastebima, tačiau jai suteikiama nežymi diferencinė reikšmė. Svarbesniais, reikšmingesniais laikomi kiti fonetikos, morfologijos, leksikos skirtumai. Regresyvinė balsių asimiliacija taip pat siejama ir su netarminės kalbos įtaka.
