On he o he hand, in P ussian Li huania, small-scale se lemen s uc u es wi h a sligh ly p onounced di ision o labou (and a co espondingly li le di e en ia ed occupa ional s uc u e) p e ailed, in which he o ma ion o amily names p ima ily goes back o pa onymic, i.e. su name-based, as well as su name-based educa ional pa e ns. The only excep ion is he su name Kalwis, which will be discussed below. In connec ion wi h he p esen a ion o he o ms o names in he co pus, i should be bo ne in mind ha he eco ding can usually be ca ied ou by Ge mans. As a esul , i mus be assumed ha he Li huanian names a e no accu a e, i.e. no sound.
