The first chapter introduces the international and Lithuanian transport and logistics organizations, describes their main objectives, structure, nature of activities. The second chapter introduces the trans-European transport networks. The third section is a glossary of the main terms of intermodal transport and logistics. Terms are explained in detail, sometimes the concept of the term or the peculiarities of its use are commented on, synonyms are provided and numerous illustrations are included. The Lithuanian list of birds has been supplemented by forty species since 2000 (p. 4). This list contains Lithuanian, Latin, English and German names of 379 species registered in Lithuania. The Latin names are given in accordance with the recommendations of the Association of European Records and Rarities Committees. Bird species names are grouped by genus.
