PRYŠININKĖ, PRYŠINĖ One of the names of the rooms of a Žemaičių iš dwelling house. Other — names used in the dialect of — Žemaitija are: pryšinė, pryšninkė, pryšininkis. ir The word pryšininkė known already iš S. The Letters of Dooku. When talking about the Žemaičių trobairitz, he notes: the third „O [doors] į pryšinikę, nu word pryš, that pryš house door was DB 23“. The purpose of this room is not mentioned S. by Daukanto. Today in the North-West ir Samogitian dialect pryšininkė means a room in a cottage for the heating: Exit (leaving) an karšenės pry§inink e¢ Brs. We'll bring the mother, we'll bring the į mother-in-law Šv (LKŽ X 698). The locals still call this place the "Pryšninka". In the "Dictionary of Lithuanian Language" to the explanation of the meaning of such a word pryšininkė is added: įrengta „... ar seklyčia" (X 698). In the dialect of the Žemaičiai, the word pryšininkė has no meaning or is very rarely used. No such value ir šį the word used M. In the writings of Valančius. This notes ir K. Bow: „The North-Western Samogitians’ ... buckwheat does not replace our buckwheat“ II 48. S. Daukantas mentions the following names of guest rooms: trobos, svetlyčė, alkierius, svečio troba. Now the locals call the site gerėja troba, didžioji tréba or in the same word as the whole house troba: ir — The whole family gathered su to have a good chat į ją TI (LKŽ III 243). We walk į through the big house, in the kitchen it's uncomfortable keeping gueststi Yes. Sail out of the cottage, tomorrow maybe guests will come Lieutenant. Guest room with a similar word priešinė next to sekljcios, sveklicios, svetlycios is called piety aukštaičiai: Į priešinę prasvk svečius Srj (LKZ X 696). Let's go to ir the dance floor. DrskZ 283. North-weir stern Samogitians prySininkei 225
relative name of Karšinčių living room pryšinė used by southern Samogitians: Son brought marcia mas — pryšinė[je] live Grd (LKŽ X 696). The same word opponent is used in the works of the writer ir ne Vaižgantas: He was the gi son of a iš nobleman whose name ir appears in 1068. In his dictionary this word is also given by A. Juška: "The other end of the palace is called the opponent, where stov rodinyna". Here is another meaning — "hired room, family". The ir Northwest Semites still know the word pryšininkis "an entrance, an entranceway". We will mention separately a couple of other names used in the Altai dialect: priešinė, priešinė. In the Lithuanian dictionary one of the opposite meanings of the word — ‘house, find’ X 695. In „Tautoje ir žodyje“ is published a list of Žemaičių-Lithuanian words found in the manuscripts of A. Kosarzevskis by an unknown dialectologist. One of his lines is this: "Priešinė —gryčia". If this is a Žemaičių word, it should be pryšinė, not priešinė. In his book "Language and Antiquity", K. Būga states: "Žemaičių priešinė being the same as aukštaičių gryčia ir pirkia" II 48. This is the origin of the above-mentioned opposite meaning in the Lithuanian language dictionary. K. Būga did not think so in any way. He raised the question of whether antiina could mean the following, which, as foreignness, one critic in Vaižgantas’ writings had replaced with the word antiina. The saying used in Valkininkai priešiniai dantes “shows that the opposite will be rather ‘riepejmsa’ [front] rather than seklyčia”, — writes K. Būga (II 49). In this dialect, the word namas, troba is not used. That the opposite is the name of the room, there is no doubt. The comparison "priešinė—gryčia" does not mean that two names of residential houses are compared. In Lithuanian dialects, the words gryčid, troba, pirkia are used not only for peasants’ dwellings, but also for their most important premises. Here is another statement by K. Buga: “The slui [residential house] consists of the following parts: 1) gryčia = ground. 2, 2nd ed., pp. 2. pryšininkė [K. Būga doubts this similarity in the same „Language and antiquity“], 3) pringis = earth. preimené* (K. Būga. Selected Writings. V., 1959. T. 2. P. 316—317). What does the highland counterpart mean? As we mentioned, for the Southern Highlanders, it is the name of a good shop, a site. Furthermore, for some southern Highlanders and western Highlanders of Kaunas this word (for Kaunas and opposite) is "a front and a room to put up, chamber", e.g. : The front door opens, and drives the wind Krok. What you stand in front of, go to the market! 1g. Bring the cabbage to the other side, Al's already fermented. This year poor potatoes —we didn't add half of the opposite Vv (LKZ X 696). And a couple of other related words: the prefix “priebutis” is sometimes used in Alvita next to the name “genka” and the prefix “priemenė” (LKA 39, 40). The form tei „tai“ (a demonstrative pronoun that can also connect parts of a sentence or sentences) is recorded in the Žemaičių dialects (Tryškiai, EigitdZiai, Raudėnai, Papilė, Akmčnė, Kelmė, Ūžventis, Pavandenė, Saukénai, Padubysys, Pašilė, Vaiguva).
