Abstract

Straipsnyje aptariamas tarpukario mokslininko Kazimiero Alminauskio vartosenoje funkcionavusio savakilmio žodžio žemvardis terminologizavimosi procesas ir rezultatas, sąvoka, termino vieta savos terminijos sistemoje, santykis su kitais lietuvių toponomastikoje vartojamais terminais. Atskleidus konceptualiąją šio kalbos ženklo teikiamą informaciją, numatytos platesnės jo panaudos galimybės. Straipsnį praplečia enciklopediniai duomenys, vietovardžių užrašymo iš gyvosios kalbos (kalbėjimo) istorijos fragmentai, juos papildo praėjusio amžiaus tautinio toponimijos registro Lietuvos vietovardžių žodyno informacija, tarpukario kaimo kultūrinę semantiką reprezentuojantys savos toponimijos pavyzdžiai iš Žemės vardų anketų.
