Abstract

Straipsnyje daugiausia struktūriniu atžvilgiu nagrinėjami determinatyviniai XIX a. pab. D + D struktūrinio modelio dūrinių sandai daniausiai siejami su jungiamaisiais balsiais (vyrauja balsis -a-), nei be jų, o B + D, V + D ir P + D, atvirkščiai – abu sandai daugiausia siejami be jungiamųjų balsių.

The article deals mainly with the structural aspects of the determinative terms of the 19th and 20th centuries in medical and health-related publications, which (or only their meanings) are not recorded in the LKZ, and discusses one of those types of durian production, the durian with the second vowel sound, and its structural models, explaining pavadina dūriniai, kokios pirmųjų sandų reikšmės, sandų jungimo būdai, svarstomi probleminiai sandų santykio, pamatinių žodžių parinkimo ir kiti susiję klausimai. Tiriamiesiems what are the structural models of the durian + D + D, B + D, V + D. The most productive species, both of which have nouns. Most often, the basis of the two sands and their relationship are easily understood, the terminological meanings flow from the constructive meanings, so they are easy to identify. The term "organ" refers to the parts of the body, organs, and diseases. However, the foundations of some durian sands are based on the keblu, and it is possible to treat sand sand relationship in different ways or it is difficult to describe it at all. D + D is the first syllable of the structural model most commonly indicated PALMIRA ZEMLEVIČIŪTĖ 48 Acta Linguistica Lithuanica LXXXVIII affiliation and type of concept, and B + D, V + D […] feature. The D+D structural model most often relates the durian sands to the conjugate vowels (the dominant vowel -a-), rather than without them, while B+D, V+D and P+D, on the contrary, relate mainly to the conjugate vowels. ANNOTATION The article takes a predominantly structural approach in analyzing the determinative century, compound terms from medical and healthcare publications of the late 19th – early 20th which (or the meanings of which) were not recorded in The Dictionary of the Lithuanian Language. It focuses on a peculiar type of formation of the said compounds, i.e., compounds with the noun as the second component, and its structural models; It aims to find out what is designated by compounds, what meanings are conveyed by the first components and in what ways these components are combined. It also discusses the problematic questions of relationship between the components, the choice of base words, etc. The compound terms under analysis demonstrate the following structural models: D + D, B + D, V + D, P + D (where D stands for noun, B stands for adjective, V stands for verb and P stands for preposition). The most productive compounds are with nouns as their both components. As a rule, the base word of the two components and their relationship are easy to identify. their terminological meanings derive from their word-formation meanings, and they are therefore easily identifiable. Compound terms denote body parts, organs and diseases. However, the base words of certain components are difficult to explain; the relationship between components can be interpreted in different ways or it is difficult to describe altogether. The first components of the D+D structural model usually designate belonging and the concept of type, whereas the B+D and V+D structural models are usually combined without linking vowels. express a feature. The components of the D + D structural model are more commonly combined by means of linking vowels (where the vowel -atakes the lead), whereas in the case of the B + D, V + D and P + D structural models, on the contrary, both components KEYWORDS: medicine, term, determinative compound, formation type, structural model, terminological meaning, word-formation meaning Notes for the purposes of this Annex: Tradiciškai lietuvių kalbotyroje dūrinys suprantamas kaip univerbacijos keliu is a word formed from the combination of two independent words with a lexical and verb meaning (the last one is formed by the lexical meaning of the Articles of the Treaty Apie kai kuriuos determinatyvinius XIX a. pab. – XX a. pr. medicinos terminus dūrinius su daiktavardiniu antruoju sandu words and their relationship to each other). There is no problem in identifying and defining it in the Lithuanian language1 (Urbutis 1961: 65; LKG I 1965: 437; KTŽ 1990: 196; LKE 2008: 148, 281, p. Stundžia, Jarmalavičius 2019: 18–19, 52). According to Prano Skardžis, a researcher of Lithuanian word production, the production of dūrī reaches even the time of the Indo-European dialects themselves. svarbiausia yra „žodžių vidinė (reikšminė) sąjunga“, ir jie nuo seno daugiausia buvo naudojami „specialinėje mokslo terminologijoje“. Stasys Keinys, a classic of Lithuanian terminology who discussed the work of Lithuanian terminology in the most detailed way in the 20th century, drew attention to the great activity of the language in contemporary Lithuanian terminology, which he explained primarily by the need for internal terminology to name complex concepts. The method of cultivation is also convenient because it helps to compare short species names, which helps to avoid the clustering of signs. The verbs are usually more terminic than the corresponding word combinations (Keinys 2005 [1983]: 129130). The subject of this article is the 72 determinative medical terms of the periodic table with the secondary variants (without variants) which (or their 1 For a broader view of the new approach to the periodic table and their classification, see Lieber and Štekauer 2009: 48; Guevara, Scalise 2009: 101 […] 128. In addition to the term durian, the term sudurtinis word (KTŽ 1990: 196; LKE 2008: 148, 281), composite (LKE 2008: 148; Stundžia, Jarmalavičius 2019: 18) is also used in linguistic literature. 3 The term smoke is more or less researched: Auksoriūtė 2001, 2015, 2016; Gaivenis 2014 [1998]; The Commission considers that the aid is compatible with the internal market within the meaning of Article 107 (3) (c) of the Treaty. The article is separated from the structural and (or) semantic aspects of problematic sentences, one of which is difficult to justify or is completely unclear (even from the context) and the meaning of the sentence itself, e.g. in the texts themselves. The term is used in a narrower sense, i.e. it is considered kastligē. 5 Kalbamojo laikotarpio publikacijose variantinių dūrinių fiksuota ne tik skirtinguose, bet ir tuose a formal variant of the same word, having the same lexical and grammatical meaning and morphological connotation (Miliūnaitė 2009: 141, cf. In other words, it is a formal structural variation that does not transcend the boundaries of the term identity and does not cause any semantic term shift, i.e. it is not related to the differentiation of the semantic term content. However, the variability of medical terms is not the purpose of this article, so the variants are not Straipsnyje tais atvejais, kai dūrinys turi variantų (visoje empirinėje medžiagoje varijuoja 11 skirtingų medicinos terminų), pateikiama jų eilutė, atskiriant jos narius pasviraisiais brūkšniais. discussed in more detail, they are the subject of a separate study. This is the first time in the history of the European Union that the term "Jamaican" has been used. The articles published in the newspapers and calendars of the time, written or translated not only by doctors but also by representatives of other professions, were collected from the 19thand 20th-century publications on medicine and health. The semantic aspect is also explained, what conceptual markers are the subjects of study, what are the meanings of the first words. To solve these problems, the most suitable analytical descriptive method, the method of qualitative analysis, is based on the interpretation and, if necessary, the adjacent method, the method of calculation to show quantitative relationships. In the descriptive analytical part of the article, next to the sentences, the abbreviation of the source, the lexical meaning of the sentence (it is formulated by the author of the article, based on the information in the source) and the creative meaning are highlighted from the basic words given in the paragraphs. If the word is recorded in sources with different meanings, give those meanings with the bibliographical data of the sources (shortcut, year, number (if newspaper), page). Sometimes the meanings of sentences are not expressed by the author, but illustrative sentences or excerpts from them are provided, especially in cases where the minimum context is informative to motivate the meaning of the sentence. considered spelling variants. Formally, morphologically, the distinction between the two is based on the relationship between the root word of the second sanda and the part of the speech. According to this classification, one of the main and dominant types is the dualistic with a daiktavardine second sound, based on a daiktavardy. The first syllable of this type of durian may be based on other parts of the language, so the syllables are further subdivided according to which part of the language the basic word of the first syllable belongs to (Urbutis 1961: 68[…]104; The Commission considers that the aid is compatible with the internal market within the meaning of Article 107 (3) (c) TFEU. The following structural models (see table 1) are distinguished from the above in terms of the type of construction of the study: structural models from: two nouns (D + D), adjective and noun (B + D), verb forms and noun (V + D), adjective and noun (P + D), discussed in more detail below. The second rank based on the nouns of these sentences usually determines the meaning of the whole sentence (concrete or abstract), and most of these sentences are usually the species names of things that are marked by the basic nouns of the second rank (See also Keinys 2005 [1983]: 135). In the case of the latter, it is assumed that the latter derives from the meaning of the verb, but this hypothesis is questionable. It's a bit of a stretch, but it's worth noting that the word is derived from the Greek word for "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "be," "to be," "to be," "to be," "be," "to be," "be," "to be," "be," "to be," "be," "to be," "be," "be," "to be," "be," "be," "to be," "be," "be," "to be," "be," "be," "be," "to be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be," "be." The functional meaning of these verbs differs from the terminological meaning […] both terms literally name the organs of different organ systems. By the way, the connection between the two can be explained by the connection of the first sando of these turns. On the one hand, it would be possible to connect their repeating first sand with a prefix between them. In this case, the structural model of the dungeons would be preferred + the name of the object. On the other hand, the first syllable can also be linked to the space of the noun (see Urbutis 1961: 103). Then the structural model of these dungeons would be object word + object word. However, V. Urbutis seems to be more inclined to associate the speech sand with the preference between. For example, in the case of durs, where the second syllable indicates a part of the body or an organ, the first syllable is considered to be an adjective with a place meaning (see Urbutis 1961: 104). On Certain Determinative Medical Compound Terms of Late 19th – Early 20th Century with Noun as the Second Component Summary The article addresses the determinative compound terms from the medical and healthcare publications of the late 19th and early 20th centuries with the noun as the second component, which do not appear in the Dictionary of the Lithuanian Language or their medical meanings are not recorded in the dictionary. It discusses their structural models and attempts to find out what is designated by compound terms, what meanings are conveyed by their first components, in what ways the components are combined; It also considers the problematic questions of relationship between components, the choice of base words, etc. A total of 72 compound terms demonstrating D + D, B + D, V + D and P + D structural Most compound terms models and responding to the compounding tendencies apparent in the terms and words of Modern Lithuanian were identified in the study. have nouns as their both components (67% of the examples). There are nearly five times fewer compounds featuring the adjective as the first component PALMIRA ZEMLEVIČIŪTĖ 70 The Lithuanian Language Act LXXXVIII 19), whereas the compounds with the verb and the preposition as the first component are very rare (11% and 3% respectively). The attribution of certain compounds to one of the above models may be rather ambiguous. The base words of most of the components and their relationships are transparent, whereas their terminological meanings are easy to identify as they roughly coincide with their word-formation meanings. When the coincidence is not so pronounced, the context of use is of help. Compounds denote body parts, organs and diseases. The relationship between components is difficult to identify, and the choice of their base words is difficult to substantiate in isolated cases only. As a rule, the first components of the D+D structural model express belonging (to which body part or organ the thing expressed by the second component belongs) and the concept of type. Less commonly, it designates a feature (what makes the thing expressed by the second component distinct from others), purpose (what movement the thing expressed by the second component is intended for), and similarity (what the thing expressed by the second component is similar to). The first components of compounds featuring the B + D and V + D structural models mostly designate a feature characteristic of the thing expressed by the second component. The components of compounds that fall under the D+D structural model are more commonly combined by means of linking vowels (with the vowel attacking the lead) than without them (proportion 31:20), whereas in the case of the B+D, V+D and P+D structural models, on the contrary, both components are usually combined without linking vowels (proportions 6:6, 10:1, 7:2, 0). The study revealed that out of all the nouns used as the second component of compound terms, -ligė -liga is the most active component in forming the group of terms expressing type/kind. Delivered on 28 March 2023.
