शैक्षणिक ग्रंथालयांसाठी मोबाइल तंत्रज्ञान, ग्रंथालय मोबाईल ॲप्लीकेशन आणि मोबाईल ओपॅक
Abstract
आजच्या माहिती व तंत्रज्ञानाच्या युगात मोबाईल हा प्रत्येकाच्या जीवनातील अविभाज्य घटक बनला आहे. मोबाईल उपकरणांद्वारे लोक संगीत ऐकणे, पुस्तक वाचन, माहिती मिळवणे, संवाद साधणे अशा विविध गरजा पूर्ण करत आहेत. मोबाईल तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर ग्रंथालय सेवांसाठीही प्रभावी ठरत असून ग्रंथालये अधिक सुलभ, किफायतशीर व संवादात्मक अनुभव देऊ लागली आहेत. स्मार्टफोन, टॅबलेट, ई-बुक रीडर या साधनांमुळे ग्रंथालयाशी जोडले न गेलेले विद्यार्थी किंवा वाचकही आता ग्रंथालय सेवांचा लाभ घेऊ शकतात. मोबाईल ॲप्लिकेशन्स प्लेस्टोअर किंवा अप स्टोअरवरून सहज उपलब्ध होत असून ग्रंथालय वाचनसंस्कृती अधिक विस्तारत आहे. डिजिटल युगात शिक्षण क्षेत्रातील माहिती सेवांची गरज सतत वाढत आहे. विद्यार्थ्यांना, संशोधकांना व शिक्षकांना माहिती त्वरित, सुलभ व सर्वत्र उपलब्ध व्हावी, ही अपेक्षा वाढत चालली आहे. मोबाइल तंत्रज्ञानामुळे ही अपेक्षा मोठ्या प्रमाणावर पूर्ण होत आहे. शैक्षणिक ग्रंथालयांमध्ये मोबाइल ॲप्लीकेशन व मोबाईल ओपॅकचा वापर करून सेवा वापरकर्त्यांपर्यंत थेट पोहोचवता येतात. डिजिटल युगात ग्रंथपालांनी स्वतःला तांत्रिक बदलांसोबत सुसंगत ठेवणे आवश्यक आहे. भविष्यात मोबाईल तंत्रज्ञान व कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेच्या साहाय्याने ग्रंथालय सेवा अधिक प्रभावी व सर्वसमावेशक बनतील. प्रस्तुत लेखात शैक्षणिक ग्रंथालयांच्या संदर्भात मोबाइल तंत्रज्ञानाची भूमिका व वापर, मोबाईल ॲप्लीकेशन्स व मोबाईल ओपॅक यांची वैशिष्ट्ये, फायदे, तोटे व भविष्यातील संधींचे सविस्तर विवेचन करण्यात आले आहे.
