README Research Data from the PEAK Study Project Description The PEAK study (Perspectives on the Use and Acceptance of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Care) was funded by the Innovation Fund of the Federal Joint Committee (GBA), grant number 01VSF20017. From 2021 to 2025, researchers from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg conducted a mixed-methods study to explore physicians’ and patients’ perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical care. This Zenodo repository provides selected qualitative and quantitative research data collected as part of the PEAK study. Contents of the Data Publication Qualitative Phase Description: The qualitative component included focus group discussions with hospital physicians, general practitioners, and patients. Discussions were guided by semi-structured interview guides. Files included: - Anonymized focus group transcripts (PDF format) - Metadata table (Excel format) - Interview guides (PDF format) Remarks: Transcripts were pseudonymized and prepared by a professional transcription service. Note: Findings from the qualitative component have already been published. Please cite the PEAK study and this Zenodo repository when using any of the provided materials.
