DOI: Abstract: Any Karakatwa (Phala) is not constant and not realised at same level throughout the life of the Native. The promised phala varies over the life span of the Native. The effect of Dasa / Bhukti and Gochara (Transit) plays key role in the variation of fructification of phala promised in natal chart. Key Words: Karakatwa (Phala), Dasa and Bhukti, Gochara (Transit), Yuti (Conjunction), Janma Rasi, Natal Chart and Dristi (Aspect). Introduction: Karakatwa (Phala) Prediction: Karakatwa (Phala) prediction is based on Bava, Bava Lord and Karaka Lord assessment. Parameters to Consider for Typical Karakatwa Prediction: Karakatwa Bava Bava Lord Karaka Lord Wealth II and XI Bava 2L and 11L Jupiter Marriage VII Bava 7L Venus Father IX Bava 9L Sun Education IV and V Bava 4L and 5L Mercury and Jupiter Mother IV Bava 4L Moon Longevity VIII Bava 8L Saturn Karakatwa Prediction based on Natal Chart: Position of Planets at the time of the birth in relation to Lagna signifies the Karakatwa (Phala) that are promised during the life span of the native. This is called as Natal chart of the native and it is fixed throughout the life of the native. Prediction based on Natal chart gives the Karakatwa (Phala) what is in store for the native. It will not give the fluctuation (variance) in level of Karakatwa (Phala) fructification. Gochara (Transit): The effect produced by the planets in relation to Janma Rasi (position of Moon at birth) at various time is called Gochara (Transit). Dasa is the major planetary period, while Bhukti is a smaller, sub-period within the larger Dasa. These cycles determine the timing and nature of life events with the combined influence of the Dasa and Bhukti rulers creating positive or negative effects depending on their interaction and placement in the birth chart. The Bhukti's effect can either reinforce the Dasa's influence or create conflict, depending on the relationship between the Dasa and Bhukti ruling planets. Example: Venus Maha Dasa and Bhukti Karakatwa Variance: The Natal horoscope analysis indicates whether there is a promise of the Karakatwa (Phala). For example, the auspicious Yuti (conjunction) and Dristi (Aspect) on 2nd and 11th Bava along with auspicious placement of 2nd, 11th lords and Jupiter generally indicate favourable conditions for wealth. But this will vary (fluctuate) over time based on Dasa Bhukti and transit. The Karakatwa is influenced by multiple Bavas and Grahas. At any given time a particular Maha Dasa Graha will be active and influence the Karakatwa. Based on the planets which drive Dasa and Transit effect at any given time will directly influence the Karakatwa (Phala). The 6th, 8th and 12th Lords may reduce Karakatwas in question based on their association with 2nd and 11th Lords. Example: Typical wealth variation in life span of a native In this synthetic example above it is observed that the level of the wealth of the native fluctuated over time during life span of the native. The fluctuation may be due to Dasa, Transit and/ or secondary factors like Karma Phala accumulated over the time. The Dasa or Transit not necessarily impact directly Karakatwa in focus (like Wealth) but may influence by changing Primary Karakatwas (like Health, Debt or losses) which in turn influence Karakatwa (Phala) in focus. The effect of Dasa / Bhukti and Gochara (Transit) need to be analysed during prediction of any Karakatwa (Phala) at any given time in the life span of the native. References: 1.
