INTRODUCTION Moral education has always been one of the key aspects of raising a wellrounded individual. In the preschool stage, when children’s worldview and behavioral patterns are actively forming, the integration of national content into educational processes becomes especially significant. Preschool institutions serve not only as places for early learning but also as environments where ethical norms, cultural heritage, and social behavior are shaped. The role of national content in this context is invaluable, as it introduces children to traditions, customs, oral folklore, and historical experiences that enrich their understanding of moral principles. Through stories, proverbs, riddles, folk games, and examples from historical figures, children internalize values such as kindness, respect, honesty, and responsibility. However, in the era of globalization and technological advancement, moral education should not rely solely on traditional approaches. It is essential to combine national heritage with innovative pedagogical methods such as interactive lessons, role-play, dramatizations, and digital learning tools. Such an integrative approach ensures that moral education is not only effective but also relevant to modern children’s needs. By enhancing the moral education process through national content, preschool institutions can achieve two main objectives: preserving cultural identity and raising “RAQAMLI TRANSFORMATSIYA DAVRIDA PEDAGOGIK TA’LIMNI RIVOJLANTIRISH ISTIQBOLLARI” 10 https://www.asr-conference.com/ IV SHO‘BA: Maktabgacha ta’limda raqamli texnologiyalardan foydalanish: strategik yondashuvlar, innovatsiyalar va istiqbollar children with strong moral values who are capable of adapting to contemporary society. METHODOLOGY Moral education in preschool institutions represents one of the most important aspects of early childhood development. At this age, children’s personalities, social relations, and sense of morality begin to form. The integration of national content into the moral upbringing process is an effective pedagogical approach that not only strengthens children’s ethical behavior but also ensures continuity of cultural identity. In many societies, especially in Uzbekistan, where national traditions and cultural heritage are deeply rooted, the application of folklore, customs, and oral creativity in education has always been considered a valuable method. Preschool institutions therefore face the dual responsibility of transmitting moral values while adapting them to the realities of contemporary education. The foundation of moral education based on national content lies in the idea that values are best internalized through culturally familiar concepts. For example, proverbs and sayings that children hear from educators or elders serve as moral guidelines. A proverb such as “Kindness is never wasted” introduces children to the idea of reciprocity and empathy, while short folk tales about honesty or bravery present moral lessons in an accessible narrative form. Such tools are not only easy to understand for young minds but also remain deeply memorable because they are tied to the cultural environment of the child. In this way, national content provides an emotional and cultural connection between knowledge and practice. Another important aspect is the role of family and community in moral education. In traditional societies, children learned about morality through direct observation of adults’ behavior, participation in family rituals, and community activities. In preschool institutions, this process is formalized but can still reflect the family’s role. Teachers often use interactive methods such as storytelling circles, dramatization of folk tales, or joint cultural celebrations to involve children in the process of learning moral values. These activities not only make the lessons engaging but also replicate the traditional socialization process in a structured educational setting. RESULTS The integration of national content into preschool moral education also helps in the development of a child’s identity. When children are exposed to their own culture, they develop pride in their heritage, which in turn strengthens selfconfidence. A strong cultural identity provides a foundation for respect toward others’ traditions as well. For instance, learning national songs or participating in traditional dances teaches children both discipline and respect for collective harmony. These practices are not merely cultural entertainment but serve as moral lessons in cooperation, patience, and social responsibility. However, the process of incorporating national content into moral education faces certain challenges. One challenge is ensuring that traditional elements remain relevant to modern realities. For instance, while old folktales contain rich moral lessons, some narratives may include outdated stereotypes that no longer align with contemporary values such as gender equality. Educators must therefore carefully select and adapt folklore to reflect current pedagogical principles. Another challenge 11 https://www.asr-conference.com/ IV SHO‘BA: Maktabgacha ta’limda raqamli texnologiyalardan foydalanish: strategik yondashuvlar, innovatsiyalar va istiqbollar lies in balancing traditional content with modern educational technologies. While it is essential to preserve national heritage, educators must also engage children through digital platforms, multimedia, and interactive games that align with their modern learning environment. To address these challenges, a synthesis of traditional and innovative methods is recommended. For example, folk tales can be presented through animated videos, combining visual technology with cultural content. Similarly, traditional riddles can be transformed into interactive classroom games that promote critical thinking and collaboration. By using national material in modern formats, educators ensure that children not only learn moral lessons but also engage with them actively. This blended approach also prevents moral education from becoming monotonous or outdated. Another distinctive feature of enhancing the moral education process through national content is its universality. While each culture has its own traditions and folklore, the underlying moral values—honesty, kindness, respect, responsibility—are universal. By teaching these values through culturally specific examples, children develop an appreciation of their own culture while also preparing to understand and respect global ethical norms. For instance, Uzbek proverbs about hospitality can be linked to international discussions of respect and generosity, creating a bridge between local and global perspectives. DISCUSSION The teacher’s role is crucial in this process. Educators in preschool institutions must act not only as instructors but also as cultural transmitters. Their ability to creatively combine national content with interactive pedagogy determines the success of moral education. Professional training for teachers should therefore include modules on national heritage, child psychology, and innovative teaching strategies. When teachers are equipped with knowledge of folklore and cultural practices, they can design lessons that are both meaningful and engaging. In addition, collaboration between families and preschool institutions plays a key role. Families are the first source of moral upbringing, while preschools provide structured reinforcement. When educators and parents coordinate their efforts, the process becomes more effective. For example, a preschool may introduce children to a national holiday’s significance, while families reinforce these values at home through rituals and storytelling. This shared responsibility ensures that moral lessons are consistent across different environments. From a psychological perspective, the use of national content in moral education enhances cognitive and emotional development. Children are naturally drawn to stories and songs, and when these narratives are culturally familiar, they stimulate memory retention and emotional connection. For example, when a child listens to a folk tale about bravery, they not only learn the concept of courage but also emotionally relate to the hero. This deepens the moral impact compared to abstract lectures on good and bad behavior. Furthermore, group activities such as traditional games promote social skills, cooperation, and conflict resolution, which are essential components of moral development. It is also important to note that enhancing moral education through national content contributes to long-term societal stability. A society that instills respect for cultural heritage and ethical behavior in its youngest members creates citizens who 12 https://www.asr-conference.com/ IV SHO‘BA: Maktabgacha ta’limda raqamli texnologiyalardan foydalanish: strategik yondashuvlar, innovatsiyalar va istiqbollar are both morally responsible and culturally aware. In the context of globalization, where cultural homogenization threatens unique traditions, teaching national values at an early age ensures the preservation of identity. At the same time, when combined with innovative methods, this approach equips children to engage with the global world without losing their roots. CONCLUSION In conclusion, the distinctive features of enhancing the moral education process in preschool institutions based on national content lie in the synthesis of heritage and innovation. National folklore, traditions, and cultural practices provide meaningful tools for teaching moral values, while modern pedagogical techniques ensure their relevance in today’s educational context. By balancing these elements, preschool institutions can successfully shape children’s moral understanding, strengthen cultural identity, and prepare them to be ethical and socially responsible members of society. Collaboration between educators, families, and communities further amplifies the effectiveness of this process. Ultimately, the integration of national content into preschool moral education is not merely an educational strategy but a vital investment in the moral and cultural foundation of future generations.
