DOI: Abstract: Under the title A Study on Influence of Mars in the Horoscopes of Surgeons, the horoscopes of surgeons are collected and the astrological rules stated in astrology for working as a surgeon are compared and examined in the collected horoscopes. The purpose of the study is to examine the influence of Mars in the 6th house of disease, the 8th house of surgery, and the 10th house of career in the horoscopes of surgeons. Key Words: Mars - 6th House - 6th House Lord - 8th House - 8th House Lord - 10th House - 10th House Lord. Introduction: Medicine is the study of human health, disease, and the methods used to treat them. It is intertwined with the science and culture of a society or humanity. In ancient times, people developed their own medical systems based on the natural resources and food types in their areas of residence. This includes traditional medical systems that originated in different parts of the world. For example, Indian Ayurveda, Siddha medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and Greek medicine. Common diseases and epidemics that affected humanity over time, such as cholera, smallpox, and malaria, were studied and the effects of diseases on society were discovered and remedies were found. In India, traditional medical systems such as Ayurveda and Siddha medicine have been practiced for thousands of years. Ancient physicians such as Charaka and Sushruta are considered pioneers in diagnosis and surgery, respectively. Sushruta in particular described several surgical techniques, which formed the basis of modern surgery. Today, medicine is a global, formalized field. A person can practice as a doctor only after receiving proper education and training through medical colleges. Various specialties (cardiology, neurology, surgery, pediatrics, etc.) have emerged. With the development of technology, diagnosis, treatment, and surgeries have become more precise and safe. Surgical medicine is a very important evolutionary development in human history. Over thousands of years, it has grown from a few simple techniques to the sophisticated, precise medical system of today. There are several important milestones in this development. Ancient Surgery: The earliest traces of surgery date back to the Stone Age. At that time, some simple procedures such as treating fractures and piercing the skull (Trephination) were practiced. However, it is Susrutha (600 BC) from India who is considered the father of surgery.  Susrutha described more than 120 surgical instruments and more than 300 surgical procedures in detail in his book "Susruta Samhita".  He was the first to introduce techniques such as plastic surgery and cataract removal. This is a great testament to the medical knowledge of the time.  Similarly, there is evidence of surgery in ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilizations. The Greek physician Hippocrates (Hippocrates) said that surgery was different from general medicine. The Middle Ages and Early Modern Period: During the Middle Ages, due to limited scientific advances, surgery was mostly performed by novices (Barber Surgeons). They performed simple tasks such as cutting wounds, breaking bones, and draining blood. In the early modern period, the main challenges of surgery were pain, bleeding, and infection. Due to the lack of anesthesia, patients experienced severe pain. The success rate of surgery was very low. Major Milestones:  Discovery of Anesthesia (19th century): This was a turning point in the history of surgery. After the discovery of anesthetics such as ether (Ether), nitrous oxide and chloroform, patients were able to undergo long surgeries without pain. This made it possible to perform complex surgeries more comfortably.  Sterilization (19th century): A doctor named Joseph Lister discovered that germs cause infection during surgery and introduced methods of disinfecting instruments and wounds. This greatly reduced the rate of infections and mortality caused by surgery.  Blood transfusion (20th century): After blood types were identified and a safe method of blood transfusion was introduced, it was possible to manage blood loss during major surgeries.  Organ transplants: In the middle of the 20th century, organs such as kidneys and hearts could be successfully transplanted. This was a major achievement in medical science. This allows patients to recover faster.  Robotic Surgery: Precise, complex surgeries are performed with the help of robots. This helps in performing delicate tasks that cannot be done by human hands.  Laser Surgery: Laser technology is used to make precise cuts and remove tissue.  Artificial Intelligence: Artificial intelligence is used for planning surgeries, controlling robots, and diagnosing.  Surgery, which was a simple medical procedure in the time of Susrutha, has today reached the pinnacle of scientific and technological development. In the future, surgery will become more advanced, less invasive, and safer. It is a medical procedure that involves cutting, reattaching, and repairing body tissues and organs to treat diseases. It is an important branch of medicine. Types of Surgery: There are many types of surgery depending on the nature of the disease. Some of the main types are:  Diagnostic Surgery to help determine the nature or cause of the disease inside the body. For example, taking a tissue sample (biopsy) to examine a cancerous tumor.  Reconstructive Surgery (Curative Surgery) Surgery performed with the aim of curing the disease. For example, removing a stone in the gallbladder or removing an appendix.  Reconstructive Surgery Rebuilding parts of the body that have been damaged by injury, accident, or other disease. For example, repairing a disfigured face in an accident with plastic surgery.  Emergency Surgery performed immediately in a life-threatening situation. For example, controlling internal bleeding in serious accidents.  Palliative surgery Surgery to relieve the symptoms of incurable diseases or to improve the quality of life. For example, cutting nerves to relieve pain caused by cancer. Methods Used in Surgery:  Traditional surgery (open surgery): In this, a large incision (incision) is made to access the affected area.  Minimally invasive surgery (Minimally Invasive Surgery): The surgery is performed using small incisions, with a small camera and instruments inserted. This greatly reduces pain, bleeding, and scarring. (Example: Laparoscopy)  Robotic surgery (Robotic surgery): A surgeon performs the surgery using a robot arm controlled by a computer. This increases precision and control. Surgeon: Surgeons (surgical surgeons) are those who, after completing medical school, receive specialized training in surgery. They specialize in various fields such as general surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, and orthopedic surgery. Before the surgery, the patient is given an anesthetic (anaesthesia). This helps to keep the patient in a state of unconsciousness. With the development of modern technology, surgeries are much safer and more successful today. The educational path to becoming a surgeon is a long, rigorous and dedicated journey. It involves a medical degree, special training and professional exams. Basic Qualifications:  School education: It is necessary to pass the 12th standard with good marks in science subjects (biology, chemistry, physics).  Entrance examination: To get admission in medical studies, it is mandatory to qualify in the nationally conducted entrance examinations such as NEET (Education for Medical Education). Medical Degree (M.B.B.S):  Duration: It is a comprehensive course lasting about 5.5 years. This includes 4.5 years of classroom training and 1 year of compulsory internship (field training).  Training: During this course, students will study in detail about human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and various medical disciplines. During the internship, they will gain hands-on experience in treating patients in hospitals. Postgraduate Course (M.S/M.D):  Specialised Training in Surgery: After completing M.B.B.S, students have to opt for M.S. (Master of Surgery) or M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) in some fields to specialise in surgery.  Entrance Examination: For this, it is also necessary to pass an entrance examination like NEET (PG).  Duration: This course usually lasts for 3 years. During this course, students will gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills in a specific surgical discipline (for example, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, neuro surgery). Additional specialty training (Fellowship / M.Ch.)  Deep specialization: To gain further specialization in surgery, one can pursue a M.Ch. (Magister Chirurgiae) or fellowship. Examples:  Cardiac Surgery  Renal Surgery  Plastic Surgery  Pediatric Surgery  Duration: These specializations last for 2 to 3 years. It is a profession that demands a lot of hard work and continuous learning. Medicine and Astrology: Once upon a time, the word doctor was used instead of the word doctor in our country. Before the advent of the English medical system, doctors used to find herbs, roots, vegetables, etc., mature them, mix them in the right quantities and turn them into medicines to cure diseases and treat people. At that time, a doctor must also know astrology. Because medicinal plants, roots, herbs, etc. should be matured and prepared for medicine by looking at the day, star, and date. They also calculated the day and date stars on which the patient should take the medicine. Thus, medicine and astrology worked together at that time. But with the scientific development that occurred in the last century, the English system of medicine, allopathy, has become famous worldwide. The medical and surgical system has revolutionized the modern world. Therefore, this course has also gained great popularity worldwide. Even in our country, the need and interest in medical education is constantly increasing. If one wants to become a doctor, one has to pass the entrance examination for medical education, after which one has to complete medical education and then serve as a doctor. Thus, in order to pass the entrance exam, successfully study medicine, and join the profession and serve as a surgeon, the planetary systems must be favorable. According to the astrological rules for serving as a surgeon, you can see in detail what kind of planetary system is favorable for a person. You can find the astrological rules for becoming a surgeon. These rules are based on traditional astrology. This is considered a very good arrangement for becoming a surgeon. Conclusion: The advantages of surgeons were collected and studied under the title “A Study on the Influence of Mars on the Prosperity of Surgeons”. As a result of the study, two rules in astrology are the main reasons for a person to work as a surgeon. They are rule number 1) Mars is related to the 6th, 8th, and 10th houses. Rule number 2) The lords of the 6th, 8th, and 10th houses are related to each other. According to the above rules, it is known that Mars plays an important role in the advantages of surgeons as Mars plays a karakam for a person to work as a surgeon. References: 1.
