Atmosphere: NORSCOMS WRF This dataset contains daily meteorological model outputs from the NORSCOMS WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) system produced by SAMS. The 2 × 2 km (d03) highresolution atmospheric model covers regional domains associated with the OCCAM project and provides key atmospheric variables such as wind speed, temperature, and pressure. The dataset is generated through the WRF numerical weather prediction model, driven by boundary conditions from global forecast data. Model outputs are archived and visualised through SAMS’s THREDDS data server. Both new data (from operational WRF runs) and reused input fields are included. The dataset supports OCCAM modelling and scenario analysis, providing atmospheric forcing for coupled ocean and biogeochemical models (e.g., WESTCOMS, NORSCOMSFVCOM).
