Modern digital technologies play an important role in strengthening communication between students and teachers, improving students' scientific knowledge, developing their skills, and making the educational process interactive. In our republic, comprehensive measures are being implemented to actively develop the digital economy and educational processes, and to widely introduce modern information and communication and digital technologies in all sectors and areas, primarily in public administration, education, healthcare, and agriculture. In particular, work is underway to improve the e-government system, further develop the local market for software products and information technologies, establish IT parks in all regions of the republic, and implement more than 220 priority projects aimed at providing the sector with qualified personnel. In addition, the “Digital Uzbekistan” complex program is being implemented, which involves the launch of a geoportal integrated with more than 40 information systems, the creation of an information system for managing public transport and municipal infrastructure, the digitization of the social sphere, and the subsequent introduction of this experience in other regions. The implementation of such priority tasks will allow us to eliminate digital distance education and various obstacles and problems related to the economy. As is known, the digital economy is not considered as a separate type of activity, but rather business, entrepreneurship, industrial facilities, services. The term “digital” is considered as a process aimed at the active use of information technologies in all these areas. If in a regular economy, material goods are considered the main resource, then in a digital economy it is information, data that is processed and transmitted. After their analysis, a solution will be developed for proper management. The term “digital economy” is used for the first time in our national legislation. This decree stipulated the implementation of the following measures in the field of education to improve digital skills: creating opportunities for students to master digital skills by providing them with digital technologies at the initial stage of education, developing analytical and critical thinking, and providing young people with knowledge and skills in the context of a large-scale digital transformation that will be necessary in the future; creating and implementing a single distance learning platform for its future implementation in all areas of education; making permanent changes to the core curricula of secondary schools in order to increase the overall level of use of digital technologies for students; introducing highly effective international practices aimed at organizing training in the field of technological professions and innovative activities into the education system; training personnel in areas related to information and communication technologies A number of tasks have been reflected, such as increasing the number of graduates of higher education institutions and graduates of secondary specialized vocational education institutions with an average level of competence in the field of information technologies; improving the methods of teaching computer science in general schools by encouraging the participation of organizations in the field of information technologies in the educational process. Only then will we achieve that students and young people receive knowledge at the level required by today's standards without reducing the quality of education using digital technologies.
