However, elements of all dialects are still alive in the speech of the Syrdarya region population. Keywords: Lexicon of Uzbek dialects, root words, coined words, Turkish, Tajik, Kazakh, Arabic words. Annotation Studying the lexicon of the Syrdarya region population is one of the current problems. The population migrated from different regions. Therefore, the language of the population is close to the literary language. However, elements of all dialects are still alive in the speech of the Syrdarya region population. Keywords: jewelry, Lexicon of Uzbek dialects, native words, coined words, Turkish, Tajik, Kazakh, Arabic words. The main vocabulary and vocabulary of each dialect lexicon are a unique treasure that provides information on all aspects of the life of that people. The lexicon of today's Uzbek dialects reflects the history of the Uzbek people, their way of life, cultural and economic ties with other peoples, production methods, their worldview, attitude to nature, professions, customs, traditions, and the history of the activities of the Uzbek people. If we look at the history of the development of Uzbek dialects, we will see that they are very ancient compared to the history of the Uzbek language. Therefore, by studying dialects, we can not only learn the language of the people, but also gain a lot of information about its history. The main part of the materials collected on the lexicon of the population of Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (AJMDR) Vol. 2 Issue 8, November 2025 www.ajmdr.com IF: 9.2 159 the Syrdarya region consists of Turkic (Uzbek) words, the rest consists of words borrowed from Persian -Tajik, Arabic, Russian, and other Western European languages , as well as a number of other languages , including Mongolian - Chinese lexical parallels . It is known that the interaction and interaction of languages is one of the main features of any language development process . Close relations between peoples , economic , social , cultural ties are the reason for the interaction and interaction of languages . It is known that the influence of “internal and external” factors is significant in the change of the lexical layer of a language. By the way , the presence of “ own ” and “adopted” words in languages indicates the “internal” development of the language , as well as the results of “external ” influences. Therefore, important changes in the language are the result of “internal” and “ 1 external ” factors, linguistic laws . All adopted words arise from the need to express a new subject, a new reality that is not in the Uzbek language . Historical facts showing the development of society, the social character of human speech, the assimilation of elements existing in one language by another , the influence of one language on another. This is clearly visible in the vocabulary of any language . Therefore, the similarity and genetic relationship of the lexical system or grammatical structure of a national language with similar features in another language is not accidental . 1 1. Baudouin de Courtenay. Izbrannye trudy po obemu yazykoznaniyu. -T.2-M., 1963.-S.379 Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (AJMDR) Vol. 2 Issue 8, November 2025 www.ajmdr.com IF: 9.2 160 lexical composition of the language from an etymological point of view, first of all , words that are historically and genetically unique to the Uzbek language and words that have been adopted are identified. The same thing is taken as a basis when identifying lexical layers in folk dialects . The dialectal words in the lexicon of the population of the Syrdarya region under study were also studied from a historical etymological point of view , divided into the following layers . 1. General Turkic lexical layer 2. Acquired lexical layer. the Uzbek language, Uzbek dialects, including the lexicon of the Syrdarya region , are Turkic words that have been used for a long time, from a historical and etymological point of view, and they constitute the majority. These words, which are the products of these long periods, are still present in all Turkic languages, and are considered their own vocabulary. These ancient words are also referred to in the literature as root words, or root Turkic words: "A root word is a word that is unique to a language. Therefore, the lexemes included in the category of Turkic words are unique to that language according to their genetic origin. Root words are usually very ancient 2 . " Since such words are found in all Turkic languages, they are considered universal Turkic words. Therefore, words characteristic of the Uzbek language and its dialects (root Uzbek words) have etymological unity (similarity) with many words in the vocabulary of other Turkic languages. As NA Baskakov very correctly 2 Begmatov E. Lexical layers of the modern Uzbek literary language. –T., 1985. -64-p. Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (AJMDR) Vol. 2 Issue 8, November 2025 www.ajmdr.com IF: 9.2 161 pointed out, a distinctive feature of the main vocabulary of Turkic languages is their commonality for all Turkic languages 3 . The Turkic foundations of the current lexicon of the Uzbek language and dialects date back to ancient times. The ancient Turkic lexical layer includes the set of words that were in the vocabulary of the language of that period. The most active, vital words that form the main basis of the ancient Turkic lexicon are common to all Turkic words. Currently, these words constitute the lexical wealth of each Turkic language. As in the Uzbek literary language and Uzbek folk dialects, comparing and contrasting words of their own layer in the lexicon of the Syrdarya region population with common lexical units found in ancient Turkic written sources helps to draw reliable scientific conclusions. Therefore, in determining words of their own layer, they are studied in conjunction with works such as Mahmud Koshkar's "Devonu lug'otit turk" and AK Borovkov's "XII-XIII asr Orta Azy Tafsir Leksikasi". It is known that words and terms related to the lifestyle of a people can be expressed in different ways in dialects. Because words and terms specific to a people's dialect related to their living conditions can be found in another dialect or expressed in other words. This is shown by the lexicon of the Syrdarya region population . can also be observed in the analysis of the materials collected on . It is known that the local population of the Syrdarya region has also been engaged in 3 Baskakov N. A. Vvedenie v izuchenie turkskikh yazykov.-M., 1969.-S.118-119 Asian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (AJMDR) Vol. 2 Issue 8, November 2025 www.ajmdr.com IF: 9.2 162 crafts and trades since ancient times. They made the tools necessary for their material and domestic lifestyle in local workshops, used them, and called them by different names depending on their shape, sign, and function. Therefore, when the dialect-specific words in the speech of the population living in this region today are compared with ancient written monuments, the occurrence of these words in these sources indicates that they are ancient words. This can be observed in the complex of words related to various fields analyzed on the basis of materials collected in this area. Each of these fields has been studied by dialectologists and terminologists, who are dedicated to the study of various areas of the lexicon of the Uzbek language and its dialects 4 . Such words are divided into two groups depending on whether they denote nouns or actions, and they are further studied by dividing them into semantic groups. LITERARY NAMES USED 1. J o' raev A.
