Research integrity and Open science - How does Open science support research integrity, and what can young researchers do about it?

Delaunay, Mathilde

Abstract

Open Science is transforming how research is published and shared. Can these changes lead to more reliable scientific practices? How can PhD candidates contribute by opening up their own research? This presentation was part of the doctoral introductory seminar Academic Publishing and Research Integrity, which was held online on Thursday 6 November 2025.

They expect science to be accessible, understandable, and trustworthy – especially when it shapes public decisions. 16 Open access: Fairness & transparency Open access is not only about visibility, it’s about fairness and accountability Research integrity and Open science How to publish in Open access? open-access.network (2021).
