Abstract

This paper examines the integrative role of the Russian language and culture as instruments of intercultural communication and international cooperation. It explores how linguistic and cultural dimensions of the Russian speaking world contribute to fostering mutual understanding, academic exchange and cultural diplomacy. The research emphasizes that the Russian language with its historical depth and literary richness, continues to serve as a power medium for building bridges between nations in the context of globalization.

By analyzing linguistic practices, literary traditions, and cultural expressions, this study highlights the integrative role of Russian in shaping cross-cultural understanding. Russian language as a medium of intercultural communication because many people to learn this language. It is significant language for a wide range of cultures. The Russian language functions as a crucial medium for connecting individuals across cultural and national boundaries. Its global presence is strengthened through international education programs, media dissemination, and diplomatic engagement. Learning Russian allows students and professionals to access diverse perspectives, enhancing their intercultural competence and promoting empathy toward different cultural values. In addition, Russian plays a strategic role as a tool of soft power. In countries across Eurasia and beyond, it facilitates collaboration in science, trade, and international policy. The multilingual nature of Russian-speaking regions enriches intercultural dialogue, making it an important instrument for global communication. International programs, such as cultural festivals, exhibitions, and academic exchange initiatives, facilitate the dissemination of Russian culture worldwide. Academic mobility and research collaboration, preservation of cultural and linguistic diversity are key points for Russian language and culture in the context of globalization.
