VCAT: VLBI Comprehensive Analysis Toolkit
Abstract
This is an overview presentation of our newly developed Python module VCAT (VLBI Comprehensive Analysis Tool), which aims at easing data analysis of VLBI data, specifically aimed for studying AGN jets. It allows a comprehensive analysis of the radio signature of AGN jets as obtained from multi-frequency continuum VLBI observations to obtain information about the morphology and polarization of the extended emission.
