KRUMP JOURNAL Krump Vibe Coding: Laying the Foundations of KrumpTech with AI and Story Blockchain Arunpirasath Nadarasa (ORCID: 0009-0004-3755-7926) Keywords: vibe coding, blockchain Abstract Krump Vibe Coding describes a new creative economy in which Krump dancers use AI “vibe coding” platforms such as Lovable to build digital products, monetise their culture, and design tools tailored to the Krump community. By combining Krump’s expressive roots with appbuilding AI and Story, an AInative blockchain for tokenising and licensing intellectual property, dancers can shift from being only performers to becoming founders and product owners inside a wider KrumpTech ecosystem. This article outlines how Krump artists can convert sessions, battles and pedagogy into new income streams while retaining authorship and longterm ownership of their data and stories through Story’s programmable IP infrastructure. Krump, energy and narrative Krumping emerged in early2000s Los Angeles as an intensely expressive street dance, evolving from clowning and characterised by explosive movement, improvisation and personal storytelling through the body. In London and other global hubs, Krump sessions now function as emotional release, community support and a physical way of narrating lived experience, with dancers explicitly describing the dance as a narrative of “where you are from” made visible in motion. This narrative focus makes Krump particularly well suited to digital tools that can preserve, contextualise and redistribute stories without diluting their local meaning. Vibe coding and Lovable
Vibe coding is an emerging approach to software creation where users describe what they want in natural language and an AI platform generates working applications, effectively turning noncoders into app builders. Lovable, a fastgrowing Swedish startup, provides one such platform, converting conversational prompts into fullstack web apps and enabling both casual creators and enterprises to deploy products without traditional programming skills. For Krump dancers, this means the barrier between an idea born in a session and a functioning digital tool becomes a matter of describing the “vibe” of the product rather than mastering a programming language. From dancer to KrumpTech creator Krump communities already develop rich pedagogies through workshops, online tutorials and structured concept training, often using digital platforms to reach students globally. Vibe coding allows these same educators to spin up custom training portals, subscriptionbased course platforms, or booking and eventmanagement tools simply by explaining their teaching flow, pricing, and desired community features in plain English. As these dancers become product owners, the emerging field of KrumpTech can be understood as the intersection of Krump culture, creatorcentred software, and the business and legal tooling that sustain them over time. New income streams for Krump artists Using Lovable or similar tools, Krump artists can generate multiple, layered revenue models around their practice. Examples include: • Membership sites offering tiered access to live labs, recorded sessions and feedback rounds, with recurring subscription income. • Battle and event platforms that charge for registration, payperview streams or digital passes, with automated payouts to dancers and organisers. • Personal training apps that adapt drills and concepts to each learner, bundled with onetoone coaching or critique packs. • Digital merch such as motioncaptured Krump avatars, emote packs for games, or branded visualisers licensed under clear terms.
These products can be prototyped rapidly through conversational prompts, iterated with feedback from the community, and deployed globally with minimal upfront cost. With Story handling onchain licensing and revenue logic, dancers retain strategic control over how these products are used, licensed and remunerated. Story: AInative infrastructure for Krump IP Story is an AInative blockchain designed as an infrastructure layer for intellectual property, making realworld IP assets programmable, enforceable and monetisable. It offers programmable licensing, IP tokenisation, and onchain attribution and royalties, so that creators can register, license and monetise their IP in seconds and allow AI systems to work with rightscleared data. For KrumpTech, this means that session footage, battle formats, character designs, motioncapture data and teaching materials can be registered as IP objects, each with clear, machinereadable terms for open use, noncommercial remix, commercial use or commercial remix. Story blockchain and KrumpTech governance A Storybased KrumpTech stack can treat each creative artefact—such as a signature concept, a branded event or a collaborative training curriculum—as tokenised IP with defined ownership percentages and automated royalty flows. When other creators build derivative works, such as remixing a battle format into a game, integrating Krump avatars into a metaverse experience or training AI models on rightscleared Krump datasets, Story’s onchain enforcement can route attribution and payments back along the derivative graph to the original Krump community. This turns Krump’s lineageconscious ethos into a digital governance system, where contributions are tracked and rewarded rather than extracted without acknowledgement. AI as creative collaborator, not replacement AI in this context acts as a collaborator that amplifies rather than replaces the human core of Krump, handling tasks such as editing workshop footage, generating highlight reels, or drafting lesson plans from spoken explanations. Generative models can propose practice drills, structure online curricula, or suggest new interaction modes for apps, while Story’s IP controls define what these models are allowed to use and how any resulting value flows back to the dancers. This keeps KrumpTech grounded in embodied practice while ensuring that AI systems remain accountable to the culture from which they draw. Practical pathway into Storypowered KrumpTech For a Krump artist in Britain or elsewhere, an entry pathway into Krump Vibe Coding with Story might involve first registering a small but meaningful IP bundle: a named training programme, a logo, and a short set of filmed drills, each uploaded with Storycompatible, machinereadable licences. The next move is to describe a simple app—such as a members’ portal or booking system—to Lovable, connect it to the registered IP via Story, and test how licensing and attributions are enforced when users subscribe, remix content or request AIgenerated study plans. Over time, a
network of such Storyregistered Krump projects can grow into a recognisable KrumpTech layer: a web of vibecoded tools, governed by onchain IP rules, that sustains artists financially while protecting the integrity and ownership of their stories. © 2025 Krump Journal. Licensed under CC BY 4.0
