Additionally, primary data was collected via an online questionnaire distributed in the Sonipat and Delhi region to understand consumer perception. 4.3 Sample Size • Total Questionnaires Distrlbuted: 72 (online mode). • Total Questionnalres Recelved: 43. • Final Sample Size for Analysis: 40 (after data cleaning). Chapter 6: Findings and Suggestions 6.1 Key Findings Based on the analysis of primary and secondary data, the following key findings were established: • Strong Brand Equlty: Amul benefits from high brand awareness and loyalty, with most consumers always trusting the brand for new products. • Core Identity vs. Diversification: While milk is the primary association, high product penetration in categories like butter, ice cream, and cheese demonstrates successful product diversification. • Successful Category Entry: The move into the chocolate segment is highly successful, with a majority rating Amul chocolates better than or equal to established competitors. • TruBt Drives Trials: Brand reputation (53.80/»)is the most significant factor influencing consumers to try new Amul products, outweighing advertising and price. • Consistency and Quality: The belief in consistent quality (84.6°A) and maintenance of brand image (92°4 agreement) underpins the brand's reliability. 6.2 Suggestions To ensure continued growth and innovation, Amul should consider the following suggestions: 1. Expand Non-Dairy/Health Segments: Explore and launch more non-dairy FMCG segments like ready-to-eat meals, enacke, and health-focused foods (e.g., plant-based alternatives, protein drinks) to capture the growing health-conscious and youngef market segment. 2. Strengthen Digital Marketing: Increase investment in social media campaigns and e-commerce platforms to improve product visibility and engagement with digitally native consumers. 3. Enhance Global Presence: For international markets tUSA, Spain, etc.), Amul needs to tailor products for local tastes, partner with foreign distributors, and invest in localized marketing strategies. 4.
