The Data Management Competence Centre (DMCC) carried out CZU’s first comprehensive institutional survey on research and student data practices. Aim was to map current reality, identify gaps, commonly used tools, and provide evidence for developing a university-wide FAIR roadmap. The survey provides the institutional evidence base to guide FAIR implementation at CZU. High-quality RDM increases research integrity, transparency and trust. This perspective complements the institutional mapping and confirms that strengthening the steward network is essential for FAIR implementation across CZU.
