В данной статье анализируются теоретические основы использования инновационных методов в образовательном процессе, их практическое применение и влияние на эффективность обучения. Раскрывается роль инновационных методов в активизации личности студента, развитии самостоятельности мышления и творческого подхода. В ходе исследования использовались методы педагогического наблюдения, анализа, анкетирования и статистического сравнения данных. Полученные результаты показали необходимость широкого внедрения инновационных методов в систему образования. This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the use of innovative methods in the educational process, their application in practice, and their impact on the effectiveness of teaching. The role of innovative methods in activating the student's personality, developing independent thinking and a creative approach is revealed. During the study, pedagogical observation, analysis, questionnaires, and statistical data comparison methods were used. The results obtained showed the need for the widespread introduction of innovative methods in the education system. Introduction: In today’s process of globalization and digital transformation, an innovative approach has become a necessity at all levels of the education system. The use of innovative methods in education is one of the key criteria that defines the professional competence of a modern teacher. This is because traditional teaching methods do not encourage student activity and often lead to one-sided knowledge acquisition. In contrast, innovative methods develop students’ skills in independent thinking, analysis, problem-solving, information processing, and effective use of data[1]. Educational reforms aimed at modernizing the education system in the 2025 DECEMBER NEW RENAISSANCE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE VOLUME 2 | ISSUE 12 8 country, particularly the Law “On Education” and the priority directions defined in the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, require the implementation of innovative educational technologies[2]. Therefore, developing and implementing lesson models based on interactive, problembased, and project-based teaching methods, as well as ICT tools, is considered a requirement of the modern era for educators. In recent years, both local and foreign scientists have been actively conducting in-depth research on innovative educational methods. For instance, O. Ziyomuhamedov (2018) emphasizes that interactive techniques such as “cluster,” “brainstorming,” “blitz survey,” and “synquain” play an essential role in increasing students’ cognitive activity[3]. Additionally, N. Xodjieva noted in her study (2020) that innovative methods have a positive impact on lesson effectiveness and reported that students’ learning outcomes increased by 20–25 percent[4]. In this research, the methods of observation, survey, experiment, and statistical analysis were used. English language lessons at School No. 93 in Ishtikhon district, Samarkand region, Uzbekistan were selected as the research object. During the 2024-2025 academic year, innovative methods such as project-based learning, role-plays, and roundtable discussions were implemented among students of grades 7-8 for three months. Over a period of three months, methods including project-based teaching, role-playing games, and circle discussions were applied in English language classes. The experimental work was carried out in the following stages: Diagnostic stage – the initial level of students’ knowledge and motivation is determined. Experimental stage – lessons are conducted using innovative methods. Monitoring stage – the quality of students’ knowledge and indicators of their activity are analyzed. The table below compares the initial and final results obtained during the experimental process. Table 1. This represents a 29% growth and indicates a significant improvement in teaching effectiveness. Discussion and Results. The research results indicate that innovative methods stimulate positive motivation toward learning among students, making them active participants in the lesson process. Interactive methods, including debates, round tables, and project work, help develop students’ skills in independent thinking, group collaboration, and providing well-reasoned arguments[5]. At the same time, the use of multimedia and digital platforms in the educational process has enhanced students’ language learning abilities. The results of the conducted survey are presented in the table below. Table 2. Additionally, it was found that methodological updates and the use of technological tools in the teacher’s activities are key factors determining the quality of lessons. Conclusion. According to the research results, the use of innovative methods in education plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of the learning process and developing students’ skills in independent thinking, creativity, and information handling. Innovative methods make the lesson process interactive, engaging, and effective. Students acquire essential life competencies, such as expressing their opinions freely, working collaboratively in groups, and solving problems. Pedagogical experience has shown that if a teacher integrates digital technologies, interactive methods, and problem-based teaching principles when designing lessons, the quality of students’ knowledge and their level of mastery significantly improve. Therefore, it is crucial for educational institutions to enhance teachers’ innovative competencies, strengthen methodological support, and implement advanced foreign practices. In the future, it is necessary to study more deeply the effectiveness of innovative methods across different academic subjects and the mechanisms of their application in digital learning environments.
