Introduction The modern education system requires ensuring the comprehensive development of the student. In today's era of globalization, due to the rapid increase in information, intensified competition, and the growing need for professional competencies, it is important to move away from passive methods in the learning process and adopt interactive approaches. Interactive methods deepen knowledge acquisition by engaging the student in independent research, communication, exchanging ideas, and problem-solving rather than simply providing ready-made knowledge. Additionally, interactive methods foster effective collaboration between teacher and student, and help develop skills such as expressing personal opinions, defending one's stance, listening to and analyzing others' ideas. The latest achievements in the field of pedagogy also emphasize that the educational process yields the best results only when it is organized around the student. Interactive methods, on the other hand, are an innovative approach that places the student at the center and facilitates their learning process through active participation. Therefore, this article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the essence of interactive methods, their advantages, the conditions for their application, and ways to increase their effectiveness.
2025 DECEMBER NEW RENAISSANCE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE VOLUME 2 | ISSUE 12 50 Main part When talking about the pedagogical content of interactive methods, it is primarily distinguished by placing the student at the center of the learning process. In traditional lessons, the teacher is the main figure who delivers information and monitors it, whereas in interactive approaches, the teacher acts as an organizer, guide, and motivator of the process. In this way, students develop skills such as independent thinking, active participation, asking questions, discussing, and working in small groups. Interactive methods have many pedagogical advantages. First, they encourage students to be active and transform them from passive listeners into active participants. Second, they help develop 21st-century skills in students such as critical thinking, creativity, analytical approaches, and teamwork. Third, the learning process becomes more lively, boredom decreases, and motivation increases. Fourth, through interactive methods, a student's individual abilities are revealed, each student's opinion is taken into account, which enhances self-confidence. However, in order to effectively apply interactive methods, the teacher must also have sufficient preparation. Interactive lessons often require more complex preparation compared to traditional lessons. The teacher needs to clearly define in advance the purpose of the method, the procedure for its application, the level of difficulty for students, and the expected outcome. Additionally, creating suitable conditions for group work, properly allocating time, and managing the rhythm of the lesson are also important factors. The effectiveness of interactive methods in educational institutions has been confirmed through experiments. Numerous studies have shown that in lessons where interactive methods are used, students' levels of comprehension, interest in the lesson, and independent thinking skills are higher compared to traditional approaches. Furthermore, improvements in the socio-psychological environment among students, as well as an increase in mutual trust and respect, have also been observed. This plays an important role in a person's socialization and the development of communication culture. Today, interactive methods used together with digital technologies are even more effective. Multimedia tools, electronic platforms, virtual laboratories, interactive tests, and gamification elements are taking interactive learning to a new level. For example, students actively participate in the learning process through online collaborative boards, QR technologies, and digital quizzes. This makes education more interesting, dynamic, and creative. Some problems also arise when using interactive methods. For example, when there are many students in the class, it becomes difficult to manage the process; there may be a lack of time, some students may remain passive, or the teacher may not have the necessary preparation. Therefore, to effectively organize interactive learning, it is essential to develop a well-thought-out plan and lesson scenario from a methodological perspective. Properly dividing students into groups, clearly defining roles, and explaining assessment criteria in advance enhances the effectiveness of this process. Conclusion In conclusion, interactive methods are an integral part of modern education, helping students to think independently, form their own viewpoints, engage in social communication, and develop creativity and initiative skills. The application of interactive approaches in the educational process leads to a deep and solid acquisition of knowledge. The role of interactive methods in forming the competencies required by modern pedagogy is invaluable.
2025 DECEMBER NEW RENAISSANCE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE VOLUME 2 | ISSUE 12 51 Therefore, it is important for every teacher to regularly incorporate interactive methods into their teaching practice, organize lessons creatively, and involve students as active participants in the process.
