While traditional teaching is often aimed at providing ready-made knowledge, modern pedagogy seeks to use methods that are close to practice and form the student as an active participant. One of such methods is the Case Study method. Case Study is a teaching method based on analyzing a real or close to real situation, finding a problem, proposing solutions and making decisions, which increases the student's thinking culture, level of independence and responsibility. This method is especially widely used in areas such as economics, management, pedagogy, medicine, law, and social sciences. When Case Study technology is introduced into the educational process, the student can be formed not only as a knowledge acquirer, but also as an analyst, researcher, evaluator, and decision-maker. This thesis extensively discusses the content, advantages, role in education, and impact of the case study method on student development. Case Study is a method that, based on a specific real or hypothetical situation, guides students to analyze a problem, process existing information, apply scientific knowledge to practice, and develop a practical solution. Cases are often created based on: life situations, processes in organizations, social problems, economic or management situations, pedagogical situations, medical practices.[2] In the case study method, students do not memorize ready-made knowledge, but learn to apply it in a practical situation. The most important thing is that a case study never has a single correct answer. Students develop several solution options, and in the end choose the most optimal decision. The impact of the Case Study method is multifaceted, comprehensively developing the intellectual, psychological, communicative and social skills of the student. In the process of working on a case, the student analyzes each fact, identifies cause-and-effect relationships, and assesses the situation from a realistic point of view. This process forms the skills of: independent thinking, asking questions, comparing evidence, considering alternative solutions. VOLUME-3, ISSUE-10 196 Critical thinking is one of the most necessary competencies for making decisions in real life. The main goal of the Case Study method is to teach the student to understand the situation, identify the problem and independently find a solution to it. The student: identifies the problem, collects information, develops alternative solutions, chooses the most optimal one. Some cases require students to make decisions in a short period of time. This process equips the student with the following skills: time management, analytical thinking in urgent situations, risk assessment, responsibility. Case studies are often carried out in groups or teams. In this process, students develop the skills of: expressing their opinion clearly and well-founded, listening to others, observing the culture of communication defending their position.[1] Since debate plays an important role in cases, students become more communicatively mature. Studies show that by using the Case Study method, students: Remember 40% more information, Develop 60% more practical skills, Develop 75% more communication skills, Learn to make decisions 50% faster.[3] Such high efficiency is due to the fact that cases are practical, real-life and interactive. In short, Case Study is one of the most effective, practice-oriented methods of modern education. This method develops in students skills such as analysis of real-life problems, independent thinking, creativity, communication, cooperation, decision-making. Case Study makes the learning process interesting, result-oriented and interactive. Today, student activity, initiative, and free thinking are one of the main requirements of education.
