Abstract

On the occasion of the 2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) - COP30, the Tara Ocean Foundation and the Ocean & Climate Platform, in partnership with BlueRemediomics, BIOcean5D and the European Union, invite you to a webinar devoted to reflections around marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR). This webinar explores marine geoengineering solutions - often presented at recent COPs as immediate paths forward to mitigate climate change - inviting discussion toward a better understanding of its progress and intended benefits, as well as potential environmental, legal and ethical insights.
