In addition, one article per case study country is also expected to be produced, most likely as an outcome of WP3 or WP4. The articles are expected to be submitted to journals within two months after the end of the project and to be published in the following two years. However, articles from selected activities carried out in the first part of the project will be published during the life of the project. Articles may be submitted to high-quality journals in the field of research, e.g. Land Use Policy; Ecological Economics; (Journal of) Environmental Management; CATENA, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Ecology and Society, Journal of Rural Studies; Landscape and Urban Planning; etc. Preference will be given to aggregating the above in a special issue of a refereed international journal to allow consistent access to the project results by readers and maximum visibility. As regards scientific articles published in journals, the project will focus on fully open-access journals, in line with the "gold" open-access approach. A budget has been set aside for this in the resources to be committed. This will be managed in such a way as to ensure access to high standard peer-reviewed journals rather than easy "pay-to-publish" journals. Free open access journals (including journal classification, etc.) will be preferred to allow wider dissemination given the available budget. Digital 24 This project has received funding from the European Union’s HORIZON-AG - HORIZON Action Grant Budget-Based research and innovation programme under grant agreement GA 101091268 copies of the project's scientific publications will be deposited in institutional or public repositories (possibly collected by the OpenAIRE portal) to achieve maximum visibility of the project results and their long-term preservation.
