Key words: education in the spirit of patriotism, state policy, youth, reform, action strategy, preservation of spiritual and moral values, customs and traditions, traditional and modern methods. Everyone should know and clearly imagine the main ideas that express the historical purpose of the society or state in which he lives. Then the ideas expressing these goals take place in his mind and heart, and gradually turn into trust and faith. A person without trust and faith does not have a deep understanding of his path, goals and interests. If the faith is strong, a person will walk without retreating from the path of an idea and a noble goal. The national idea is the basis for the mutual solidarity of people, becomes a strong moral and spiritual factor and serves development. One of the first medieval thinkers, Abu Nasir Farabi, believed that the only condition for spiritual freedom and the creation of a perfect society is to encourage people to be good and to bring them up ideologically. and if he spends his judgment, strength and energy on other things, these actions are bad and inappropriate..." [1] Therefore, the national idea is important in the enrichment of national and spiritual values. The transformation of spiritual values into the property of large sections of the population, especially the young generation, does not happen by itself, it requires the efforts of progressive representatives who are not indifferent to the fate and prospects of this nation. If material and spiritual wealth and national education are not put on the right track, they will be reduced to the level of dusty books, shining artifacts, and mockery. The present day calls for the realization of the tasks of strengthening peace and harmony between nations and religions, preserving and developing spiritual and moral values, customs and traditions, and strengthening spiritual and moral education, increasing the political consciousness and legal culture of the population. That is why the concept of educating young people in the military-patriotic spirit in 2023-2027 (CONCEPT of increasing the effectiveness of educating young people in the military-patriotic spirit in 2023-2027. The concept was adopted by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated June 29, 2023 No. 267) Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the new version, It was developed on the basis of the Law "On State Policy Regarding Youth", decrees and decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As you know, our great grandfather Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur and his descendants conquered India and ruled for 332 years. One episode really impressed me: Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur's army was very nervous before the battle against the powerful Indian general Rano Sango. There were serious reasons for this. First of all, Babur's recently sent army to Bayana was defeated by Rano's Rajput soldiers. Rana Sango destroyed all the units sent against him without leaving a single one, which caused great fear in Babur's army. The situation was really precarious. Against Rano Babur, he faced a terrible force of 90-100 thousand, consisting of militant Rajputs and Afghans. The fact that Babur's army numbered around 30,000, 3 times the number of Rajputs and their proven bravery caused real fear among Babur's soldiers. And as if that weren't enough, a hawkish astrologer adds to the generality with his foolish predictions of "the destruction of all." The Afghans in Babur's army also fled one after another. Moreover, Babur's most trusted Chigatai Turks, instead of protecting the land of India, which they hated, begged Babur to go to Kabul with the rich spoils they had collected. Babur writes about that situation in "Baburnoma": "The fierceness and bravery of the pagan army" caused the soldiers "concern and fear." No man's word, nor brave advice was heard from anyone." On the eve of the battle, the real struggle begins. The risk of dying in vain without seeing their family and children, surrounded their homes, scared the soldiers, and there were even those who wanted to avoid joining the battle. Annoyed by this, Mirza Babur addressed his soldiers on the eve of the battle while standing on his horse without feeling his anger: "Is there anyone among you who will not die and will live forever?" Everyone is quiet. He continues. "The sun rises to set, and man is born to die. This is the same truth. A dog dies, and a young man dies. But there is a difference between their deaths. If a dog dies because of his ego, a young man gives his life protecting his family, country, and honor. A young man dies in the way of protecting his land, homeland, glory, religion, motherland like the apple of an eye. it is an honorable death. Is there a great blessing from the will of the generations, peaceful and peaceful life? At least we are the conquerors, my God, if we die, we will be martyred." The soldiers who listened to this were silent for a few seconds. After a while, they shouted as if they could catch the whole world: "We are ready for battle, we will definitely win!" Soldiers raise their swords and lances to show their readiness for battle.This speech, imbued with the spirit of war, was the appeal of Babur in March 1527, when he crushed the army of the Rajputs, Rano Sango, and subdued the whole of India. I think that it is the duty of us intellectuals to inculcate spiritual and moral values, customs, traditions and the feeling of the Motherland in the youth. The difficulty of strengthening peace and harmony between nations and religions, preserving spiritual and moral values, customs and traditions, and difficulties, obstacles, imbalances, and even the increase in criminal activities cannot extinguish the feeling of the Motherland in the heart of a person of pure conscience, if it has become a deep belief. The birth of new generations and their appearance on the stage of life creates new problems for the society, and this continuity and gradualness ensures the continuous and gradual continuation of social life. In conclusion, it should be said that it has become a moral need to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Motherland in young people, to strengthen peace and harmony between nations and religions, to preserve spiritual and moral values, customs and traditions, to love and protect the Motherland. Today it is at the center of state policy. It is evident that meeting this need with the means of spiritual and moral heritage will give an effective result. According to President Sh.M. Mirziyoev, patriotism is one of the ancient values of our people.
