Abstract
This record contains the programme of the MYCOBEANS workshop “From Pore to Profile: A Workshop on Nanopore Microbiome Sequencing”, held at the University of Parma (Italy) from 15 to 17 October 2025. The workshop was organised within the framework of the MYCOBEANS project (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchange) and focused on interdisciplinary training and knowledge transfer related to nanopore sequencing technologies for microbiome analysis. The programme covered theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions on Oxford Nanopore Technology, DNA extraction, library preparation, sequencing, and data analysis workflows. Additional materials from the workshop (e.g. selected presentations) may be added in subsequent versions of this record when suitable for public dissemination.
