Abstract

The Aura Strategy is primarily aimed at the rehabilitation of obsolete residential neighbourhoods. It is a methodology for urban and building regeneration, through a system that allows the rehabilitation and transformation of existing buildings, based on the conservation and reuse of the urban fabric, as a fundamental criterion for a sustainable intervention, which is in line with the 17 SDGs, and with the Plan Vive en Andalucía 2020-30, in particular. 7KLV´SURJUHVVLYHPRGHµRIXUEDQDFWLRQSURSRVHVWKHUHFODVVLÀFDWLRQRIVRFLDO identity, material and energy, seeking an effective improvement in the comfort and health of the inhabitants, resulting in an increase in their quality of life. This requires an architectural and urban study of the previous and current state, analysis and development of the description of the building and its environment from the historical, formal, programmatic obsolescence, urban, socioeconomic and other areas that allow the architectural conception of the neighborhood.
